Gofio

The Aborigines of Fuerteventura have left us this precious legacy, what became the most important food in difficult times of this dry island. It is roasted wheat flour or roasted corn. Gofio you eat with milk, like a shake, as Mousse de Gofio for dessert, with fish broth and onions or simply kneaded. Gofio is very nutritious.
